The Hercules Electric Bi-Parting Slide Door (EBP) is ideal for applications where fast opening and seal tight closing is important, especially in areas where material handling traffic such as fork lifts and pallet jacks operate. Suitable for coolers, freezers and industrial buildings for interior and exterior applications. The Hercules Bi-Parting Slide Doors is also available with manual operation (MBP).

Insulation Foamed-in-place polyiso CFC-free
Door Panel Structural frame consists of kiln-dried straight-grained Douglas Fir rails and plywood stiles clad with the specified metal; the core is injected with foamed-in-place polyurethane. All seams are sealed.
Casings Kiln-dried Douglas Fir saturated in a wood preservative solution and clad with specialized metal.
Metal 26-ga. G-90 galvanized steel, mill finish, stucco embossed, smooth painted.
Paint Imperial white PPG Durafin 2000™ High Performance Coating, USDA accepted, warranted for 20 years in areas requiring heavy wash down (subject to terms and conditions of coating warranty agreement).
Hardware

Heavy-duty hardware and track coated for corrosion resistance including:

  • Double "J" door track
  • Door panel suspended on two 4 wheel ball-bearing trolleys
  • Floor mounted, adjustable, non-marring, self-lubricating stay rollers
  • Spring loaded idler sprocket with adjustment to maintain proper drive chain tension
  • Manual disconnects on front and back of door with concealed release
  • Two pull cord switches each with 12 feet of polypropylene pull cord
Gaskets Adjustable bulb type cloth reinforced neoprene gaskets on vertical casings, header and floor sweep panel.
Safety Edge Full height non-electric instant reversing safety edge on leading edge of each door panel.
Defrost Freezer door equipped with 120 volt perimeter cables to keep gaskets frost free.
